CH. 6 RESPONSE
Based on the information presented in chapter six I think I would like to teach in a classroom with a moderate amount of technology. Technology such as electronic whiteboard or also known as the SMART board; with this I could have students participate in the class activities by solving problems and playing educational games. Another technology I would want in my classroom would be Data projectors. Data projectors would be perfect for the classroom so we could view educational films, power point projects, and presentations from speakers. Overall the technology I would like in my class is the kind students will be permitted to use for fun educational purposes also for taking notes.

CH 11. RESPONSE
AUDIO (Traditional & Emerging)
The traditional technology I have chosen was a cassette tape. Children could use this to listen to books instead of the teacher reading them to the class, and they are still very popular today especially with older books.
The emerging technology I have chosen would be the cd. Much like the cassette tape the cd can play books to students, but also the cd can play music or movies sometimes presentations and even show pictures.

VISUAL (Traditional & Emerging)
The traditional visual technology I have chosen for the classroom is bulletin boards. They are fun and festive ways to get points across, educate students on events, display expectations, and finally display student work. Also I think having students design their own bulletin board would help spark they’re creativity and have them participate in the class.
The emerging visual technology I have chosen to show in the classroom would be a digital projector. It can display what I want to show my students from the comfort of my own computer. Also the whole entire class can see it and hook it up to their computers and show the class their ideas.

All About Me!

Hello, I'm Ashley Preston I am a freshman at Bowling Green State University with a major of Special Education for mild to moderate cases.  I am from Toledo, Ohio also known as T-Town.  This is about 40 minutes from Bowling Green.  I live in Centennial residence hall with the best roommate ever named Molly Siudzinski.  We always have a good time, and we actually take EDTL together. I am overly obsessed with Starbucks coffee and homemade tea which I drink often.  My favorite past times are watching movies, frolfing (Frisbee golfing), online shopping, and writing.
